Nathan Smith
Birthplace: Minneapolis
College: Gustavus Adolphus
What Nathan actually does: Stresses about the future and the ever-changing real estate market. Helps design the home. Cares about how our homes function. Finds deals and attracts buyers. Develops relationships in and outside the company with banks, real estate agents, clients, and other builders.
Cities lived in: Minneapolis, Orlando, Denver, Alicante, Spain.
Career highlights: Built and sold a roofing business that is still top of the class in Minnesota. Was a successful 100% commissioned sales rep. Got my wife to marry me.
“Nate never thinks outside the box... because there is no box. It’s his perspective that makes Smith and Meade so successful and keeps all of us on our toes. ”
“The louder Nate is talking, the more you know something big is about to hit our pipeline. His energy literally drives the organization.”
Things you might not know about Nathan...
Travel memories of note: Seems like a lifetime ago. (Pre-kids) Lived in Spain, spent a month in the following locations Ghana Africa, South Africa, Malaysia, and England.
Unexpected fun fact: I walked 42 miles in a 24-hour period along the Camino De Santiago in Northern Spain.
A really big accomplishment: Raising seemingly healthy, balanced (well one plays a little too much on his iPad) kids.
Who knew? My favorite sport to play is Rugby.
Family matters: Oldest of five kids. I am nine years older than the next oldest. Most say I have the personality of an only child!
Why this industry? I have always loved and admired beautiful homes.
